I swear that one day we'll all be friends and the past never mattered.

If the world ended in 6 days and 5 hours
and 32 minutes and 41 seconds
and 98 milliseconds.

Then what you did to your friend yesterday
what you said to your mum
That feeling when what you thought was trust
snapped before you
and those seconds you spent crying in your room

That time when you were 2 and your teeth
were itchy so you bit your mum's leg
or when you were 5 and started school
and everyone was taller
and you never wanted your mum to walk away
and leave you.

When you were 8 and you had a crush
on that guy you sat next to everyday
he became your classroom friend
and you felt happy just sitting there
in class listening to the teacher.
and you would talk to him and found it
easier, unlike other boys.

Until you changed schools when you were double digits,
and you felt old, and sad
You occasionally thought about him,
but you knew it wasn't something that special,
it was just one of those things.

Your new school was friendly,
it liked you, and you liked it.
You met new people and didn't like them,
but then you moved on and found another girl,
and you wanted to sit next to her in maths,
but someone else already asked,
so you sat on the desk adjoining hers,
and someone else sat next to you,
and you said ''hi''.

And from there that girl you sat next to,
and that girl who you wanted to sit next to,
became your buddies,
and you wouldn't notice till later
that they meant a lot to you.

From that first day of high school
until you were 14
(for you never know what the future holds)
You made more friends,
and they all sat on a comfy bench,
lying in the middle of your heart,
keeping that warm spot warm
just for you.

And you often reflected
how you loved your friends
and your family
and your life
and God
and for some reason that made you sad

You would think about the problems
some people on that bench of yours
have to endure
and you hoped with all your might
that you would be on that bench of theirs
in their heart
and help them feel happier
and take away their sadness.

Until one day, you just wonder
as you stare at the clouds,
and your music strolls along
and everything around you doesn't matter.
Because you're wondering what would happen,

If the world ended in 6 days and 5 hours
and 32 minutes and 41 seconds
and 98 milliseconds.
